Simple, Detoxifying DIY Deodorant

After years of experimenting with natural deodorants, a friend made me some of the following deodorant recipe and it has been fail proof.  It’s the first time I have used a deodorant that I do not have to reapply multiple times a day, and that’s saying something for a fitness professional.

For this recipe I used:

3 oz. Coconut Oil
2 Tbsp Baking Soda
3 Tbsp Cornstarch
20-25 drops of Essential Oil of your choice (I used Tea Tree for it’s antibacterial benefits and Lemongrass and Orange for a nice citrus scent)

Optional 1-2 Tbsp Bentonite Clay
Optional 1/4 tsp activated charcoal

Note: some people may be sensitive to the grittiness of the recipe. If so, you can try adding in more coconut oil.
